Ciara du Coquin bleu
Our “Sööt-Snuut” (= sweet snout). Ciara is a gold piece from Chartreux cat. She is sweet, affectionate, delightful, cheeky, enjoyable, talkative and much more as it should be for a real Chartreux girl. Yes, also talkative. She talks to you until she finally gets her way.
Ciara is our little sensitive. She is suspicious of fights and chases with the other cats, so she likes to hide. But playing with us, she becomes a drift queen. Like a madwoman she runs across the room, hips into her red rustling tunnel and then slides 2-3 meters with it. Also like to take a bend. (Maybe we saw too much “Tokyo Drift” with her.)
Otherwise, she loves to cuddle with us at night. No matter which position we have found for sleeping, she will find the smallest hole to snuggle up to us. At some point she will cuddle us out of bed …
… and that’s why we love them!

Yes, Collin was our a real Chartreux stud and the boss in the house. At least that’s what he thinks. When you see him strutting through the house so self-satisfied and dignified, but also a little distant, you know immediately that he is a Chartreux and above all a (breeding) tomcat.
But he’s just pretending. At the bottom of his heart he is a real cuddle cat and regularly calls for his cuddling hours with a gentle muck. When it comes to his rights, he likes to be petted down once in a while. He just falls over.
Otherwise he absolutely needs his playtime with us, otherwise he’ll chase the girls across the house. He prefers to play with Emilia. The two then romp like little kittens over the sofa and chairs.
And otherwise he has a special eye on Emilia. When he is not around, he knows where she is thanks to his regular patrols.
Like all Chartreux studs, Collin usually has his own mind, but he’s always just great!

The daughter of our Emilia from Grinke and Uzetto de la Paquerette was born on 1.7.2023 with two brothers. With them she learns above all to do nonsense. She can fight like a cat with her brothers Emil and Elmar, but she also likes to play with a feather duster. She is our soccer queen, because she dances around the room like Ronaldo with every ball.

Emilia is a typically Chartreux girl and the more affectionate one, definitely. She greets us in the morning after we get up and is especially happy when we go into the kitchen. There she looks at us with big eyes and demands her food.
Stroking is great, especially in the bathroom in the morning. There she likes to fall over when petting, like the cat. If I ignore her for too long, she sometimes reminds me with very tentative love bites. Taken in her arms, she sometimes makes herself comfortable for a while.
Fighting is always a great game, she just doesn’t want to lose. … then the little one squeaks. 😸
But she prefers to romp around the house with the cat and knows how to put him in his place. Yes, she is the boss.
Our cat Collin is particularly fond of her. She would love to follow him everywhere. She also gets regular caresses from him.
Emilia is just a cute cat – just a pretty Chartreux girl!
